Wilt

Just three years after its very first concert, wilt has established itself as one of the most sought-after acts on Los Angeles's emerging alt rock scene, with over 12 million streams and 100 million views on Instagram and TikTok.

Backed by an ever-growing community, their debut single, "gwen", generated strong enthusiasm and quickly found an international audience thanks to the band's viral content. The singles released in 2023, followed by their self-titled EP in 2024, confirmed this meteoric rise.

Among its influences, the band cites Hole, Radiohead, Weezer and Mannequin Pussy, while the vocal power of its charismatic frontwoman Chelsea has earned her comparisons to Hayley Williams, Debbie Harry and Joan Jett.

Over the past two years, wilt has built up solid stage experience by supporting artists such as The Warning, Destroy Boys and Lovejoy. This year, however, the band took a major step forward by selling out its own headline shows in several major American cities.

With a first album and new tour dates on the way, wilt is shaping up as one of the bands to watch very closely in 2026. + thistle
