In just three years since their very first concert, wilt has established itself as one of the most prominent groups on the emerging alt rock scene in Los Angeles, with over 12 million streams and 100 million views on Instagram and TikTok.
Carried by an ever-growing community, their first single, "gwen", generated strong enthusiasm and quickly found international resonance through the group's viral content. The following singles released in 2023, then their self-titled EP in 2024, confirmed this meteoric rise.
Among their influences, the group cites Hole, Radiohead, Weezer and Mannequin Pussy, while the vocal power of its charismatic frontwoman Chelsea earned her comparisons to Hayley Williams, Debbie Harry and Joan Jett.
