Zoom - Tournée

It is the story of a mother's immeasurable love for her son. It is the story of a mother who is ready to do anything to give her son the best possible life. It is the story of a success…

At the end of September, a parents' evening: there she is, 'the mother of Burt'. The one nobody has seen for years, the one we would probably have preferred not to see again. She has no reason left to be there, yet she has invited herself along. So, while the form teacher is late, she stands up and speaks. She starts at the very beginning, right in the middle of 'Hollywood'… Then she takes us on a whirlwind of a life between Sochaux and Sartrouville, where she will do everything she can so that her Burt has a destiny other than her own, a star's destiny.

And as this clownish journey unfolds, a genuine emotion gradually reveals itself. We then understand who she is, and why she is there… 'Zoom is a gem, a hard-hitting and heartfelt chronicle' Le Parisien
