Amel Bent

Amel Bent Bachir (in Arabic: أمل بنت بشير), known as Amel Bent, is a Franco-Algerian singer and actress, born on 21 June 1985 in the 18th arrondissement of Paris.

In 2004, her participation in season 2 of the Nouvelle Star show, broadcast on M6, brought her to the attention of the general public. She placed third in the competition and released her first album the same year: Un jour d'été.

She was a coach on the French television talent show The Voice Kids from 2018 to 2019 and on The Voice: La Plus Belle Voix from 2020 to 2023. In 2026, she returned to The Voice for the 15th season of the program alongside: Florent Pagny, Lara Fabian and Tayc.
