Delta Goodrem

Delta Lea Goodrem, born November 9, 1984 in Sydney, New South Wales, is an Australian singer-songwriter, pianist, and actress. She was discovered in 2002, having appeared in the Australian soap Neighbours. She played the character Nina Tucker, a role that established her international music career as she signed with Sony at age 15. Delta Goodrem achieved eight number-one singles in her home country, from her three studio albums, which also achieved number-one status. She currently holds the record for the most albums sold in the past decade and the most number-one singles for a debut album.

Her repertoire is primarily pop, covering contemporary adult themes. Piano is very prominent, which she often plays barefoot during concerts. Her music is influenced by a wide range of styles, including classical, pop, and rock.

Her debut album, Innocent Eyes, released in 2003, was the best-selling Australian album in the past decade, the first step toward the prestigious title of the female artist who has sold the most albums in Australia of all time.

She represented Australia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 in Vienna, Austria, with her song Eclipse.
