About — The artist
Fanny Biascamano, more commonly known by the mononym Fanny, born on September 16, 1979 in Sète (Hérault) where she died on December 27, 2025, was a French singer.
She is best known for her cover, at the age of 12, of Édith Piaf's song L'Homme à la moto, after being revealed on the TV show Sacrée Soirée on TF1 in 1991, and for representing France at the 1997 Eurovision Song Contest with the track Sentiments songes (finishing 7th out of the 25 participating countries).
She released 4 albums including Fanny (certified gold and featuring the hit song Un poète disparu among others) and two in tribute to Édith Piaf and Georges Brassens.
Throughout her career, she performed in concert, did numerous galas and tours in France and around the world, and took part in shows including one dedicated to Vincent Scotto.
In the 2010s, Fanny Biascamano wrote two books: Enfants stars, plus dure sera la chute in which she reveals the difficult journey of young artists, followed by the culinary work La cuisine du Sud de A à Z published in two volumes.
