GLK

GLK (initials for « Ghix La Kalash »), real name Ghiles Abbad, is a French rapper and singer of Algerian origin, born on 5 January 1994 in Saint-Denis.

He grew up in Bobigny where he formed his first group, ZAR (Zone à risque). In 2015, he began his Bandito freestyle series, the first seven of which featured on the mixtape Avant Murder, released in early September 2015 under the 50k Editions label.

The mixtape Murder was released on 20 May 2016, notably featuring collaborations with Niska, Gradur, KeBlack, KRK, and Sofiane. The re-release of the mixtape came out on 3 March 2017, including features with Leto and The S.

GLK's first album, Un jour ou l'autre, was released on 30 November 2018, notably featuring the track Mauvais with Ninho, which was certified platinum single.

After a series of freestyles in 2019, the album Indécis was released on 27 March 2020. Certified gold, it notably includes the track 93% [Tijuana] featuring Hornet La Frappe, Landy, and DA Uzi, certified diamond single, and Wesh featuring Heuss l'Enfoiré, certified gold single. The re-release of the album, Indécis Part. 2, came out on 2 October 2020.

On 19 November 2021, the album Karma was released, notably featuring collaborations with Imen ES, Kaza, and Koba LaD.

The album Veni was released on 13 October 2023, followed by Vidi on 23 February 2024.
