Jeanne Lee (New York, 29 January 1939 – Tijuana, 25 October 2000) was a jazz singer. She is one of the most important representatives of the free jazz movement in vocal jazz. Her unique style, at once sensual, dark, and sensitive, draws on both the reinterpretation of standards and free forms of vocal improvisation and scat.
