Lakecia Benjamin is an American saxophonist, composer, and educator living in New York.
She performs alongside Missy Elliott, Alicia Keys, and Stevie Wonder. Her early albums feature jazz-funk and soul music. In 2020, the album Pursuance: The Coltranes paid tribute to Alice and John Coltrane. After a serious car accident, she returned in 2023 with an album titled Phoenix.
