About — The artist
Lynn Cassiers (Antwerp, 1984) is a Belgian singer and multi-instrumentalist. Cassiers is best known as a jazz and improvisation singer. She is the younger sister of drummer Steven Cassiers (Dez Mona, Dans Dans).
Lynn Cassiers graduated from the Royal Conservatory of The Hague in 2006. She has been teaching at the Lemmens Institute since 2008.
Cassiers has worked with Riccardo Luppi, Erik Vermeulen, and Manolo Cabras, among others. She has also sung with Lidlboj and several other bands including Tape Cuts Tape (with Rudy Trouvé and Eric Thielemans) and Octurn.
In 2013, she released her first solo album: The Bird The Fish and the Ball.
