About — The artist
"Paris Latino" is a song by the French group Bandolero. The song is written and composed by the brothers Carlos and José Perez, former members of the punk group Guilty Razors. The group's third member and drummer was Gilles Bourezak. It was released as a single in October 1983 by Mankin Records and distributed by Virgin Records. The group's only real commercial success, the track is regarded as a short-lived success.
In 2002, the contestants of Star Academy covered the song. This version also enjoyed success, notably reaching No. 1 on the French Top Singles chart.
