About — The artist
Paris Latino is a song by the French group Bandolero. The song was written and composed by brothers Carlos and José Perez, former members of the punk band Guilty Razors. The third member of the group and drummer was Gilles Bourezak. It was released as a musical single in October 1983 on Mankin Records and distributed by Virgin Records. The group's only real commercial success, the track is considered a one-hit wonder.
In 2002, the students of Star Academy covered the song. This version also achieved success, notably reaching number 1 on the French Top Singles chart.
