About — The artist
Luke Slater (born 12 June 1968 in Reading) is a British techno musician.
A progressive rock drummer at the age of 12, he discovered electro, house, and techno as a teenager. He released his first tracks in 1989, followed by numerous tracks under various pseudonyms (Clémentine, 7th Plain, Planetary Assault Systems, etc.) on several labels (including Peacefrog Records). In 1997, he released his first album, Freek Funk on Novamute, followed by Wireless in 1999.
