Portugal The Man

Portugal. The Man is an American rock band from Wasilla, Alaska. The band consists of John Gourley, Zach Carothers, Kyle O'Quin, and Jason Sechrist. John Gourley and Zach Carothers met and started playing music while they were in high school.

Since the band's formation in 2005, they have released 11 studio albums, accompanied by three EPs. Their first two albums were released on Fearless Records, but they also released other albums under their own label Approaching AIRballoons, and on Equal Vision Records. On April 2, 2010, the band signed with Atlantic Records. On June 4, 2013, their seventh album, Evil Friends, was released, marking their first collaboration with producer Danger Mouse. In 2017, the band achieved great success with their single Feel It Still, which charted in the top 5 in France and the United States, and remained at number one on the Alternative Songs chart for 20 weeks.
