Puls

Puls, stylised PULS, is a Danish musical group specialising in pop, dance, and club music, made up of Micky (full name Micky Skeel Hansen) and Niel (full name Niels Kristian Baarsby), signed to the PhatPhase label.

Micky, born December 23, 1988 in Køge, and Neil, born in Høje Taastrup, met through an online music network where they had each posted their own tracks. Mickey Skeel Hansen was already a working Danish actor, having appeared in Snurre Snups Søndagsklub on the Danish channel TV 2 in 2005. He had also appeared in several films, including Familien Gregersen, Af banen, and Dommeren (in 2004-2005), in the television series Sommer in 2008, and in Remix, a film about the relationship between the music industry and child stars.

Mickey and Neil invested in studio equipment and recorded more than 80 songs. Their first commercial single was “Superstar,” produced by Jacob “J.R.” Simonsen, also known as Lil'Jay d'Apollon, accompanied by a music video directed by Blue Sky Music. The track found some success on the dance circuit, and Simonsen became PULS's producer.

PULS made their official debut on the Danish singles chart with “Lad det slå.” Shortly after, an English-language version titled “Let It Go” was released for international nightclub distribution. PULS's biggest hit is the single “Dope,” featuring esthetician and reality TV personality Ole Henriksen, which reached No. 3 on the Danish charts.
