Samuel Labarthe is a French-Swiss actor born on May 16, 1962, in Geneva.
A resident actor at the Comédie-Française from 2012 to 2015, he is notably known for portraying Commissioner Swan Laurence in Les Petits Meurtres d'Agatha Christie from 2013 to 2020. More active in theatre and television, he has also acted in cinema, for example in the films La Conquête and Notre-Dame brûle, where he played Dominique de Villepin and General Gontier, respectively. Also active in voice acting, he is regularly the French voice of George Clooney, as well as one of the voices for Liam Neeson and Javier Bardem.
