About — The artist

Gilles Magnard, known as Sellig, born on 29 June 1969 in Lyon, is a French comedian and author. His stage name is the reverse spelling of his first name, "Gilles". Active since the early 1990s, he became known for observational humour centred on everyday life, deliberately steering clear of political, sexual or religious themes. His shows, presented as "episodes", regularly tour France and the French-speaking world.
