About — The artist
Shaârghot are a French industrial metal band, from Paris. The project was born out of the mind of video artist Étienne Bianchi in 2011. Initially conceived as a purely recording-based electro-industrial metal project, it has since branched out across numerous media to become more than just a musical project, growing from 2 members in 2013 to as many as 8 artists on stage in 2022.
Since 2015, Shaârghot has unveiled its post-apocalyptic, cyberpunk universe through elaborate sets, costumes, make-up, pyrotechnics and live performances, as well as in scripted music videos with cinematic ambitions.
