About — The artist
Shobee, whose real name is Chouaib Ribati, is a Moroccan rapper and singer born in Safi on 12 May 1991. Before embarking on a solo career, he was part of the rap group Shayfeen alongside Small-X and Snow. Together, they helped introduce Moroccan rap to the international scene. In 2019, Shobee and Shayfeen joined the NAAR collective to participate in the album ‘Safar’.
In addition to his involvement with the group, Shobee also made a name for himself as a solo artist on the Safar compilation. Notably, he collaborated with Lomepal on the track “Ciel” and with Madd and Laylow on “Money Call”. Both songs have accumulated millions of streams on platforms, propelling Shobee into the spotlight.
In addition to these collaborations, the rapper has released several singles, such as “L'Vibe” in 2019, “Dat Way” in 2020, “Makayn Tahed” in 2021, and “Power – A ColorsxStudios” in 2023. In the same year, he launched his first solo album titled “Howls – Intro”. This album also achieved considerable public success.
