About — The artist
Skepta is the godfather of modern grime: the Tottenham Londoner brought the genre out of the UK with "That's Not Me" and "Shutdown," and his album "Konnichiwa" won the Mercury Prize in 2016. Endorsed by Drake and the fashion world—he has since launched his own lines and collaborations—he remains faithful to the raw energy of 140 BPM instrumentals. His rare Parisian concerts turn the venue into a grime rave under maximum tension.
