Tank, real name Durrell Babbs, born on January 1, 1976, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, is an American singer, musician, and actor.
Initially predisposed to a career in American football, he chose to pursue music instead, starting as a backing vocalist for Ginuwine. In 2001, he released his debut album Force of Nature, with the single Maybe I Deserve immediately reaching the Top 10 charts.
Also a songwriter and composer, he has worked for Dave Hollister, Marques Houston, Omarion, Jamie Foxx, Donell Jones, Monica, and has several collaborations with the former production duo The Underdogs. He continues to work with the new team, rebranded as The Anonymous.
