About — The artist
Textures is a Dutch progressive metal band from Tilburg, North Brabant. Formed in 2001, the band will have released six studio albums by 2026. Textures plays mathcore, incorporating elements of metalcore, death metal, and thrash metal, with a slightly more 'hardcore' vocal style compared to other bands. On their debut album, Polars, Textures drew inspiration from ambient sounds, which are considerably less present on their album Drawing Circles.
