The Legendary Pink Dots is an Anglo-Dutch rock band formed in August 1980 in London and expatriated in 1984 to Amsterdam. Their unique style is a blend of soaring psychedelic rock and experimental, industrial, or ambient music, with post-punk, new-wave, or synth-pop tendencies, sometimes incorporating world, jazzy, or prog rock influences.
A prolific and iconoclastic band, one of the most interesting and creative on the English music scene. They have released nearly 60 albums (not counting live albums and best-ofs).
