About — The artist
Stephen Fasano, known by his stage name The Magician, is a Belgian DJ and music producer from Namur. From 2007 to 2010, he formed the duo Aeroplane with Vito de Luca, before pursuing his solo career as The Magician.
He gained particular recognition thanks to his remix of Lykke Li's I Follow Rivers, which achieved significant commercial success in Europe, as well as with the single Sunlight, recorded with Years & Years and charting seventh in the United Kingdom. In 2014, he received the Octave de la musique award in the electronic music category. Since 2010, he has also been releasing a series of mixtapes titled Magic Tapes, the hundredth episode of which was released in 2021.
