About — The artist
Trouble is an American doom metal band from Aurora, Illinois. The band has a distinct musical style influenced by British metal bands such as Black Sabbath and Judas Priest, as well as 1970s psychedelic rock. Acclaimed by the specialist press, Trouble's first two albums, Psalm 9 and The Skull, are cited as foundational to the creation of doom metal. To date, Trouble has released eight studio albums. The band frequently became inactive after the departure of their singer Eric Wagner in 1997. He returned in 2000 before leaving again eight years later.
