About — The artist

Vianney Bureau, known by the mononym Vianney, born on 13 February 1991 in Pau (Pyrénées-Atlantiques), is a French singer-songwriter, lyricist and actor.

He became known at the end of 2014 with his first album, Idées blanches, driven by the track Pas là. The record was certified gold ten months later. This successful debut earned Vianney the Victoire for Male Artist of the Year at the 2016 Victoires de la Musique.

At the end of 2016, he released a second album, Vianney, certified platinum within two months. The record includes the break-up ballad Je m'en vais — which won the Victoire for Original Song in February 2017, a few weeks before being certified diamond — and Moi aimer toi.

In 2020, his third album, N'attendons pas, drew attention for the hit Beau-papa. After a fourth album, À 2 à 3, released in 2023, Vianney won a second Victoire for Male Artist of the Year, this time shared with Gazo.

In film, he starred alongside Fanny Ardant in Diane Kurys's Ma mère est folle (2018), then played a small role in Classico by Nathanaël Guedj and Adrien Piquet-Gauthier (2022).
