The Fondation Eugène-Napoléon was originally a charitable foundation established by Empress Eugénie, with buildings located at 262 rue du Faubourg-Saint-Antoine in the 12th arrondissement of Paris, inaugurated on 28 December 1856. It was recognized as a public utility organization in 1858.
