About — The venue
The Maison des arts et de la culture André-Malraux (MAC) is a national theatre located on Place Salvador-Allende in Créteil, Val-de-Marne. It was designed by architect Jean Faugeron and inaugurated in 1975.
This building features three performance spaces: the Grande Salle, with a capacity of 1054 seats, including 20 reserved for people with reduced mobility (PMR); the Petite Salle, with 270 seats; and the Satellite, with 104 seats.
For fifty years, the MAC has been a space open to everyone, offering broad access to culture and presenting a multidisciplinary programme dedicated to live arts as well as cinema. On 13 and 14 March 2026, the MAC will celebrate its 50th anniversary with the « Jubilé », an event designed to look back at these fifty years of past creation while opening up perspectives for the next fifty years.
