SEATED CONCERT - Free seating. Mathilde Fernandez comes from the world of visual arts, both live and plastic. It's by exploring the various possibilities of her voice that her musical project begins in 2015 with her remarkable debut EP Live in Las Vegas.
Today in both electronic and acoustic, you find in her voice (her aesthetic) strong lyrical influences reminiscent of Klaus Nomi, Nina Hagen, Kate Bush and Diamanda Galas.
At the helm of her production and creation of her clips and visuals, Mathilde then released Hyperstition in 2018, Final Vegas in 2020 and Sensible in 2021.
She enriches her baroque universe through collaborations: Christophe, Simone Ringer, Cécile di Gxiovanni, La Tendre Emeute, Perez, La Femme and most recently the ascending virgin duo she forms with Paul Seul, founding member of the Casual Gabberz crew.
They released between 2019 and 2024 three self-produced albums including A New Chance and The Greatest Spectacle on Earth distributed by Epic, Sony.
Breaking this barrier that might exist between several disciplines imposes itself on her as a necessity that leads her to mix different media radically: performance, sound, music, video, installation, theater, dance, writing and exhibition curating. Lives and works in Brussels.
