About — The venue
The Musée en Herbe is a Parisian museum managed by a 1901 French law association, recognised as being of general interest, subsidised by the City of Paris, and occasionally supported by the State, the Île-de-France region, artists, and private individuals.
A pioneer in cultural mediation for young audiences, the museum was founded in 1975 in the Jardin d'acclimatation with the help of the Fondation de la vocation.
Convinced that art is a vector for social connection, the Musée en Herbe aims to introduce as many people as possible to art using its unique mediation and scenography.
Since 2016, it has been located at 23 rue de l'Arbre-Sec in the 1st arrondissement of Paris.
