About — The venue

The Musée national de la Marine is a French maritime museum. It has been a public administrative institution since 1971, operating under the supervision of the Ministry of the Armed Forces. It functions as a network and is established in five cities: Brest, Paris, Port-Louis, Rochefort, and Toulon. It also has a Conservation and Resource Centre in Dugny, where the library, documentary collections, public museum archives, photographic studio, and restoration workshop are located.
