About — The venue
The Contemporary Music Venue of the city of Strasbourg is a concert hall and cultural site composed of several facilities located in Strasbourg, on the site of La Laiterie, a former industrial wasteland in the Gare district of Strasbourg. The venue is divided into two spaces: the main hall with 1,000 seats and the Club, which can accommodate 300 people.
The venue is commonly referred to as La Laiterie, named after the cultural site where it is located.
Subsidised by the city of Strasbourg, the CUS, the Bas-Rhin department, the Alsace Region, and the Ministry of Culture, La Laiterie is managed by two associations: Artefact PRL and Quatre 4.0.
