Overview
The sixteenth edition of the Jazz à la Cité festival welcomes the Alain Bédard Jazzlab Orchestra to the stage of the Maison des étudiants canadiens.
This musical ensemble showcases its work in contemporary jazz, driven by the writing and compositions of double bassist Alain Bédard. The project follows in the footsteps of the ongoing explorations led by this instrumental collective, which favours meticulous arrangements and spaces for individual expression within the orchestra.
On stage, the group deploys an acoustic and electric aesthetic, built around original themes. The concert is particularly aimed at fans of modern jazz and orchestral arrangements. The Maison des étudiants canadiens provides an ideal setting for this artistic proposal in the heart of the Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris.
