Overview
ANNE ROUMANOFFL'ÂGE LIBRE In her new show L'Âge Libre, Anne Roumanoff casts a biting eye over contemporary chaos. A Quebecois coach specialising in conflict management, a cynical company boss, a butcher trying to become an influencer, or an octogenarian on a joyride, she switches characters with a delightful ease. Inflation, the place of women in the workplace, new romantic relationships, Trump, the presidential election, the rise of the extremes… Anne Roumanoff unpicks the new codes and the great absurdities of a world changing at breakneck speed. L'Âge Libre celebrates that moment in life when women free themselves from the pressures weighing on them and at last begin to ask what they want rather than what is expected of them. A resolutely free and terrifyingly topical show.
