In association with Delta Dance
Popular with audiences from all walks of life, Ballets Jazz Montréal once again stands out with a captivating creation by Jo Strømgren, a prolific figure in international performing arts. "La Revue Finale" is a work that balances poetic lightness with existential depth. Boundless in its creativity, this piece becomes a call, an invitation to return to what is essential, to the raw joy of simply being alive. A hymn to life!
"La Revue Finale" is a dynamic exploration of the extraordinary secrets we all carry within us. Beneath the fabric of everyday life, behind polite smiles and quiet habits, stories throb, waiting to be revealed. This piece is an ode to these invisible stories, a dance that lifts the veil on wonders hidden from everyone's sight.
Jo Strømgren weaves his signature, blending theatricality and a Nordic spirit, into a work of profound emotional intensity. Here, simplicity becomes an art. In a world saturated with digital noise, "La Revue Finale" seeks the poetry of an intact moment, in a life lived without artifice yet rich with meaning. It invites us to dance with our own truth and to savour the ineffable magic of existence.
