Brel ! Le Spectacle - Tournée

BREL! LE SPECTACLE Conceived and directed by Gil Marsalla, and performed by the Belgian Olivier Laurent, this tribute show to the great Jacques Brel has already conquered the whole world. Many describe him as a reincarnation.

On stage, Olivier Laurent does not imitate Brel, he is Brel, bringing to life the lyrics of his greatest songs as if his life depended on it.

With this show already performed around a hundred times to audiences either jubilant or moved to tears, in Paris, Montreal, New York, Stockholm, Beirut, London or Dubai, the artist pays masterful tribute to the greatest French-speaking singer Belgium has ever produced, through voice, rage, irony and tenderness.

Accompanied by four exceptional musicians, he throws himself body and soul into the frantic rhythm of La Valse À Mille Temps, and embodies with fire and elegance Ces Gens-Là, Les Vieux or Les Bigotes.

He even lets us (re)discover Voir Un Ami Pleurer, from the album Les Marquises, which Jacques Brel, taken by illness, never had the time to sing on stage. A great burst of poetry and a true performance. Shivers guaranteed!
