Nine years after Ouï, Camille releases a new album, The Sound of Milk (2026), an album that is original in both its creative process and its triptych form, as it is made up of Naissance (2015), a sound diary, Enfance (2020), a pocket musical comedy, and Adolescence (2025), a pop album. "Only joy consoles me, and it is my role as a woman, as a mother and as a human being to nourish it, to dream it, and to repair the world through song by making it vibrate once again!" she tells us through it.

In a dark and turbulent era, marked by social, political and ecological upheaval, Camille chooses to speak of joy, powerful and vulnerable at once, of the feminine, of motherhood, of childhood and of family in the broader sense, of the transmission of music and of unchanging values. She asks herself: how can we live day to day in the face of today's challenges? How can we take care of children and of the inner child in each of us, of the living and of the Living? What can we pass on to them in order to re-enchant the world?

Tender, lucid and committed, this album confronts us with the problems and challenges of humanity. It also lulls us so that we may awaken to love, and relight the stars where they have gone out.

More than a professional singer, which she has never felt herself to be, Camille is a woman who sings with the talent and generosity of great women creators touched by grace. She seeks the vibrant note, the sacred sound. She returns to the origins of song, to its fundamental function, that of prayer, to gently awaken us to that part of heaven that lies within us, and to make us mindful of our mother nature and of our human sisters and brothers. In this way, she invites us to connect with the great source of Love available to all.
