Ce que le Ventre Dit

Ce que le ventre dit, a new creation somewhere between slam, poetry and electronic music, inspired as much by Kendrick Lamar's rap as by Björk's experimental music.

Ce que le ventre dit, a new creation blending slam, poetry and electronic music, inspired as much by Kendrick Lamar's rap as by Björk's experimental music.

On stage, Lisette Lombé, a multifaceted artist, writer and Belgium's National Poet, meets Marc Nammour, rapper, poet and actor, for an intense and contemporary poetic dialogue, both accompanied by Jérôme Boivin on bass, keyboards and machines.

Opening the evening, the Franco-American duo offers a distinctive acoustic line-up combining Sorg, producer and beatmaker, and Napoleon Maddox, singer, rapper and beatboxer.

Collaborating since 2013, they compose and perform music with socially committed lyrics that give a voice to the left behind, carried by imaginative, well-crafted soundscapes that blend hip-hop, soul jazz and electro.
