Presented by Cov. Bar (L-2-1035355)A breath, a trance, a vibration: with Flaming Creatures, Latifa Laâbissi gives body to the voices of the divas of her childhood. Between inhabited dance and powerful singing, the past emerges, transforms and sets the present ablaze.

Latifa Laâbissi and Walid Ben Selim offer an experience where bodies tell stories, voices vibrate, and songs from Morocco travel through time to touch the present.

Together, they draw upon their shared roots and Amazigh cultures to create a living material made of gestures, rhythms and ancient echoes. Within an immersive visual universe, figures appear, transform, and then disappear.

Flaming Creatures is above all a celebration: that of the power of song, the freedom of bodies in motion, and all that can emerge when one dares to listen, feel and make room for new forms.
