Overview
In toxic relationships, we aren't always the person we think we are. Cécile tries not to be blinded by her own arsehole-ishness, which whispers to her at every turn that if life is hard, it's because of other people.
She burns to be loved, but doesn't know how to go about it, because her inner arsehole ruins her love life. She tries things out: turning herself into a plant, dating differently, or rummaging through the bins to find the love of her life. Desire, ego and struggle.
It's Cécile Laforest's "amour, gloire et beauté". She offers us a flirtation with the absurd, in an intimate, contemporary and at times trashily poetic stand-up set.
