Overview
Slim Abida, Contrast in concert
Closing concert: Slim Abida, Contrast
Bassist, composer and sound architect, Slim Abida has established himself within a decade as a major figure of Tunisian jazz fusion. Based in France since 2011, he explores the resonances between his Mediterranean roots and modern jazz, blending asymmetric rhythms and urban textures. After Fréquences Basses (2020) and Asymétrie (2022), his new album Contrast explores the dualities that run through our lives, between shadow and light, improvisation and compositional rigour, for an immersive live experience that goes beyond the boundaries of jazz.
