After the release of his EP "Digital Fairy/Folk Songs" in 2025, Gérald Kurdian, aka HOT BODIES, returns with a new intimate and elegant proposition: a concert at La Maison des Métallos, like a sneak preview dive into the pieces of his next album, "The Transition Pieces."
Contrary to his previous electronic productions, HOT BODIES chooses here an acoustic and embodied approach: voice, bass, piano, strings, choir, and samplers compose a sensitive and vibrant "chamber pop," capable of bringing forth images, affects, and narratives.
The pieces unfold in stripped-down versions, where writing and vocal textures occupy the foreground.
Between intimate ballads and electronic progressions, HOT BODIES continues to trace a space in transformation, where queer imaginaries, folk resonances, and contemporary sensations intersect. A rare form, both delicate and inhabited, which lets an album emerge.
