As part of the Vivant·e festival of engaged art, this round table invites us to rethink our relationship to creation in the age of artificial intelligence. As AI shakes up the creative sector, what are its environmental impacts, and what questions does it raise for the future of the living world? An invitation to imagine new ways of creating, where innovation would no longer come at the expense of the living.

The arrival of AI in the creative sector has sparked plenty of debate, and the questions it raises are legitimate: the future of professions, legal issues, or the anxiety of not "missing the boat" on innovation. But is that really the essential point?

This round table proposes to shift the focus onto the central yet overlooked aspect of the creative act: the question of resources and the environmental impact of AI. What concrete consequences does this have for the future of the planet?

Is it art when the artist is not alive? If creating is a life drive, can a creation that destroys the living still be called art?

Bringing together the perspectives of creative professionals and Lou Welgryn, an expert in ecological issues (Data For Good and Vert Le Media), we will examine our habits, our relationship to innovation and the responsibility of the creative sector in the face of the state of the living world.
