Dans le Prolongement - Musique Persane

"Dans le prolongement" is a concert born from the encounter between contemporary Persian poetry and Iranian music.

Through tasnifs and compositions inspired by major works of contemporary Iranian music, notably those of Parviz Meshkatian, Hossein Alizadeh and Hamid Motebassem, the performance creates a sensitive space between memory, poetry and music.

Without seeking to faithfully reproduce traditional forms, the concert opens a dialogue between musical heritage and a contemporary perspective. The poems, silences, improvisations and sound textures compose a landscape traversed by memory, resistance and transformation.

Part of the programme is also dedicated to regional Iranian music, resonating with the emotions and realities of Iran today, between intimate fragility and collective spirit.

Carried by musicians from varied artistic backgrounds, "Dans le prolongement" seeks less to represent a fixed tradition than to make a voice heard…
