Dans les rêves de Miyazaki

Immerse yourself in the poetic world of director Hayao Miyazaki at a concert where the melodies of composer Joe Hisaishi come back to life. From Le Voyage de Chihiro to Le Château dans le ciel, the Duo Izanami blends classical repertoire with Japanese pop culture in a timeless stage design. Played on piano and flute, this sensory journey will move Studio Ghibli devotees as much as lovers of classical music.

Carried by the piano of Guillaume Masson and the flute of Marie Ishii, these scores invite a journey within. Thanks to spatialised sound diffusion, the audience is wrapped in an acoustic bubble, a protective cocoon in which every note seems to float. This staging of listening turns the concert into a melancholic reverie, inviting contemplation beyond the screen.

Founded by two musicians from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris, the Duo Izanami explores the bridges between image and imagination. Marie Ishii, a Franco-Japanese flautist, and Guillaume Masson, arranger of the works of Joe Hisaishi, put their personal stamp on these cult film scores in a unique adaptation, offering a suspended moment.
