Loomie - Cie Les 7 Fromentins

A one-off show drawing inspiration from the great Pixar productions! In a post-apocalyptic world where robots control every gesture, Loomie grows up in a bunker governed by an artificial intelligence. But when cracks begin to appear, she escapes to discover what lies beyond this controlled existence. Full of laughter and wonder, this adventure plunges us into an immersive visual and sound design, celebrating the courage to grow up and the beauty of the unpredictable.

Protected, guided and surrounded by technology that is supposed to have anticipated everything from the start, Loomie is suffocating in a world where nothing is left to chance. Her curiosity about elsewhere leads her on a quest for emancipation, questioning the very essence of our freedom. This story directly echoes our connected lives, inviting us to question our relationship with screens and the virtual worlds around us. On stage, a flesh-and-blood actress plays opposite six robots, as endearing as they are intriguing. True playing partners, the machines confront us with a fundamental question: what remains of our choices in a world where everything seems programmed? A show that invites children and adults alike to reconnect with the real and with themselves.
