Dialogue Jazz : Nicolas Attié - Nicolas Pauquet

For this second evening of the Semaine de la Création Clichoise, the Théâtre Rutebeuf showcases two musicians who teach at the Conservatoire Léo Delibes while building an acclaimed artistic career on today's jazz scene.

The evening opens with guitarist Nicolas Attié, whose trio plays a sensitive, warm jazz in which composition engages in constant dialogue with improvisation. A living music, carried by the listening and the complicity of the musicians.

In the second half, double bassist and composer Antonin Pauquet presents Brumes, a project acclaimed by the critics and singled out as a Révélation Jazz Magazine. At the crossroads of contemporary jazz and traditional French music, this distinctive quintet brings together waltzes, bourrées and improvisations in a sound world that is as bold as it is bewitching.

The evening offers the chance to discover another side of two artists who take part in the daily life of the conservatoire while making their music shine well beyond Clichy.
