Et voilà ! Concerts gratuits à l'Hôpital Bretonneau

Five free narrated concerts, one Friday evening a month at the auditorium of the Hôpital Bretonneau (18e), to travel from Ukraine to Vienna by way of the land of monsters

This season, the association Et Voilà! invites you on a journey. Each concert is narrated: between the pieces, the pianist DOm Paulin shares the stories of the works and their composers. No need to know classical music to enjoy it. 1, Ukraine.

A violin, a piano and three centuries of Ukrainian music, carried by artists who have defended their culture against all odds. Friday 4 December: Monstres et chimères.

Dragons, ogres, ghosts and Japanese yōkai come together for a nocturnal parade on piano, small instruments and synthesisers. 2, Germany-Austria (1). A solo piano, forgotten masters leading up to Bach and Beethoven, and two Viennese women composers to rediscover.

3, Germany-Austria (2). A piano trio, with violin and cello, from Haydn to Brahms, passing through Fanny Mendelssohn and Emilie Mayer. 4, Austria. A quartet recounts the Vienna of Mahler, Alma and Schoenberg, between Romanticism and revolution.

“Terre de musiques” is the new red thread of the season: a musical tour of the world that will continue over several years.
