Festival Enfin seul.es !

In this grand and beautiful home that is the Théâtre Jean Vilar, we wish to offer audiences a 360° experience, made up of a great diversity of works, disciplines, aesthetics, and subjects.

This season, I wanted to open up a new relationship with artists, with intimate works, in close proximity. It is not without mischief, then, that this festival is titled « Enfin seul·es!

) because, if the artists are alone on stage, it is indeed to share great moments of emotion with us. This mini-festival will feature 7 shows, along with meetings and convivial moments.

It will create a privileged space-time to highlight the almost magical power of the link between a word, an artistic gesture, and the communal body that is a theatre audience.

Between laughter and tears, fiction and reality, the programmed artists (whether emerging or more established) all share the desire to get closer to us, to explore the profound meaning of communion, of the present moment as a unique experience to be lived collectively.

This upcoming experience, joyful and deeply alive, seems more than necessary to me today, as a salutary snub to the isolation of bodies and thoughts that threatens us. Happy festival!
