Frasques, un spectacle de cirque cosmique et poétique au Théâtre Silvia Monfort
In this show for all ages, the Cyr wheel becomes a true paintbrush.
Overview
In this show for all ages, the Cyr wheel becomes a true paintbrush.
Five performers find themselves grappling with inventive, fast-paced machinery from which they seek to escape. Moving tables, wobbling floors, upside-down worlds: all devices that tip reality on its head and plunge each into an uncertain universe.
By playing with notions of (dis)equilibrium and instability, the show explores the friction between reality and perception, that subjective way of observing what happens. In these seemingly hopeless contexts, an astonishing power to act emerges.
These everyday heroes, however clumsy they may be, display an irresistible capacity to get moving. In this ode to freedom, Galactik deliver, with humour and tenderness, a high-flying circus, populated by characters imbued with humanity.
“This fresco of daily life takes us head over heels.
