Gospel Dream

Presented by L'Association Chants Authentiques GOSPEL DREAM: GOSPEL CONCERT AT THE CHAPELLE ST-GERMAIN-DES-PRÉS! At the heart of the legendary Saint-Germain-des-Prés, a quarter of artists, literary cafés and Parisian elegance, let yourself be carried away by the magic of Gospel!

The choir Gospel Dream invites you to the Église Saint-Germain-des-Prés, one of the oldest churches in the capital, founded in the 6th century.

Step through the doors of this gem combining Romanesque and Gothic architecture, and experience an exceptional concert, vibrant with emotion and fervour. Book your seats quickly!

A true institution of Parisian heritage since 1989, Gospel Dream celebrates life, hope and unity through the authentic songs of the African-American church. With more than 800 concerts to its name, it is today among the most active ensembles on the Gospel scene.

This mixed and cosmopolitan ensemble brings together artists from Africa, the Antilles and the United States: a dozen voices (soprano, contralto, tenor and bass) accompanied by one or two musicians.

All bear witness to the resilience of a people who turned pain into hope, drawing their strength from the powerful message of love at the heart of Gospel.

Carried by the talent of artists who elevate and harmonise every voice, from the most hushed murmurs to improvised vocal runs, these performances make each concert a true act of remembrance and a resounding hymn to love.

The audience is invited to sing, take part and share a suspended moment of joy, brotherhood and deep connection, regardless of age or belief.

In this exceptional setting, the fervour of African-American Gospel meets the majesty of Saint-Germain-des-Prés: a striking encounter, where the fervour of Gospel from across the Atlantic enters into dialogue with the solemnity of one of Paris's oldest sanctuaries.

HIGHLIGHTS - An iconic Gospel destination, part of Parisian heritage since 1989 (800+ concerts).
