Presented by Talent Boutique. With Offering, Ibeyi reconnects with the free and spontaneous instinct of their beginnings.

Over more than a decade of success — endorsed by Beyoncé and Orelsan, through their Tiny Desk and COLORS sessions, tours across the greatest venues, crowned in summer 2023 by a memorable Olympia performance — the Diaz twins saw their momentum weaken under algorithm pressure and often clumsy marketing strategies.

If Offering is rooted, as often in their work, in an imagination nourished by Yoruba religion, these references shouldn't distract from what's essential: the Diaz sisters unfold a more intimate, less symbolic narrative, and tell themselves for the first time in the same voice.

Between sacred minimalism, analog textures, tweaked percussion, and transformed vocals, they sign an album sometimes completely stripped down, sometimes fuller, where physicality and raw energy transpire from every track.

Newly independent, they gathered around them a cohort of producers from hip-hop, underground, and alternative pop (Khalil, Jason Pounds, Zach Ezzy, pablopablo, Jack Peñate), replacing their longtime collaborator Richard Russell. A unanimous decision, profoundly transformative.

For two years, Naomi and Lisa-Kaindé embarked on a quest for the same artistic certainty—through good and bad musical "dates," until their pivotal meeting with Michael Brun, who serves as the album's executive director.

In stepping back from public view, Ibeyi found what matters most: the play.
